Planning your visit
If this is your first visit to Maritiman, it may be difficult to imagine just how exciting it is to be here. The chance to explore and discover powerful, exciting, sweet, odd and beautiful ships up close, with history all around to remind you of a bygone era, would give anyone goose bumps!
Maritiman is the gateway to a different world where you can go to sea for a short while without leaving the dock. Our varied armada will take you on a voyage through time and space portrayed by seafarers’ tales, exhibitions and ship history. We are open during the summer months and during the Easter and Autumn holidays. You will find more detailed opening hours and prices here!
DAILY PROGRAMME AND APPS ENHANCE YOUR VISIT
Don’t miss the high points – navigate your way to the current daily programme before your visit. There you will find the relevant times for guided tours, children’s activities and other fun things happening at Maritiman every day. If you would like an even more immersive experience, our free audio guide, available in English, Swedish and German, can be downloaded direct to your smartphone. Just go to the App Store or Google Play and search for Maritiman.
THE SEA SIGHS
On board Maritiman’s ferry Dan Broström you’ll find Matrosen – Ferry Kitchen & Shop – ready to satisfy your hunger. It serves hamburgers, salad wraps, pancakes and other treats for explorers young and old. And the icing on the cake, so to speak, is a wonderful outdoor dining area up on deck, weather permitting of course! The shop sells both traditional souvenirs and our own merchandise. You are sure to find the ideal seafaring memento to take home with you!
We look forward to welcoming you to Maritiman in the near future; a voyage through both time and space, and a chance to cast off for new experiences without having to leave dry land. Below you will find most of the information you may need as you plan your visit.
We look forward to seeing you on board!
