Tims ocean lab

How does a submarine actually work? How do we save our oceans from littering and toxins? How can a massive steel ship float? And how on earth can you use water to weigh a potato?

The eleven stations in the ocean lab present a practical way to learn about the sea, life at sea and our fragile marine environment. Once you have finished, you will know so much more about odd concepts such as density and friction.

EXPERIMENT ON YOUR OWN

The ocean lab has been designed for all ages and is ideal for exploring together across the generations. The lab is open to visitors when the museum is open. Sometimes we perform guide-led experiments in connection to the ocean lab - and not least Tim and Virvelina's entertaining experiment show. Keep an eye on the daily program to make sure not to miss out on such a highlight!
