Patrol boat HMS Hugin (P 151)

The Hugin was built in 1978 at Bergens Mekaniske Verksteder in Norway, and was retired from service in 2001 when the 18th patrol boat division was disbanded. She was the first patrol boat in a series of 16, and was one of the battle fleet’s light surface combatants. She had immense fire power in relation to her modest size and was used by the navy for various antisubmarine, minelaying, escort and reconnaissance missions. The Hugin was also used for civilian surveillance and sea rescue operations.

Hugin is today available only for visits on deck but we offer daily guided tours inside the vessel. These tours are only for a limited number of visitors, so make sure to reserve your place with the cashier to be guaranteed a spot. Check out our daily programme for the next tour!
