Autumn break at sea

The autumn break at Maritiman is packed with activities for school free children and their parents. Throughout the holiday, you can - if you dare - craft your very own sea monster to take home. We are happy to take the younger recruits on a playful fairy tale walk among the ships, an exciting tour that mixes facts and fiction. Also take the opportunity to join when Tim or Virvelina pull out the experiment wagon and show fun things to do with materials found at home in the kitchen. You can always experiment on your own in Tim's ocean lab and make sure to join the guided tour that talks about our ships and life on board. Mix all the fun with a moment of seriousness and take the chance to also visit the temporary photo exhibition Meanwhile in Ukraine, which depicts a day marked by war.

After exploring all the ships, boats and barges, hungry stomachs are best satiated aboard café Matrosen. Here you can find pumpkin pie and spooky pastries for a guaranteed Halloween feeling!

We are open for the autumn break on 28 Oct - 5 Nov between 11.00 - 16.00. Have a look at the program below!
